Dr. Thomas Robl has spent most of his professional career in the private equity industry. He founded VTC in 1992, which is today a fast-growing and independent industrial group.

Dr. Robl was previously with Munich-based IMM, one of the first private equity companies in Germany. During his time at VTC he was involved on all levels of numerous VTC investments, from identifying opportunities to executing management responsibility.

Dr. Thomas Robl holds a Ph. D in physics from the Technical University Munich and a MBA from Insead, France.
In his position as member of the Supervisory Board of Carbon Challenge Holding AG Dr. Robl monitors the set-up and application of adequate managerial accounting and financial reporting systems.
