Carbon Challenge Academy programmes include a course in sailing.  Our sailing sessions are provided by Europe’s leading coaches to professional management clients and cater for users of all levels of sailing experience.

At Carbon Challenge Academy, we see sailing as much more than an opportunity to break away from the learning environment and have fun in the Mediterranean.  We see sailing as an integral part of understanding the implications of global warming on business and recognising how underlying conditions and available resources can be used to achieve the best results. 

Using our fleet of fifteen 8.5m training boats and waterside Valencia location, crews of up to five are introduced to sailing as a way of putting the carbon reduction challenge into a new context outside the lecture room. 

It’s a formula that has proved to work well, regardless of the sailing experience of the participants.  It is indeed a fascinating insight into business to experience how the apprehension and lack of confidence of sailing participants can be converted into fleet racing success in less than an hour of working together.

Our sailing courses many insightful lessons on the interaction between humans and nature, as well as on what sailing can teach us for business through teamwork, smart management of available resources and knowledge of our limits.

Companies making use of our carbon-neutral facilities in Valencia for Corporate Events and conferences may elect to include our sailing sessions as part of their programme.

Our sailing clinic team has enjoyed more than 15 years of success in providing sailing training, team building and personal coaching to business leaders throughout Europe and in Valencia.
