Europe’s first training academy for carbon management in business
Carbon Challenge Academy is Europe’s first professional training institution dedicated to the integration of carbon management systems in response to the impact of global warming on business.
Global warming has rapidly transformed from a topic with occasional coverage into one of the dominant themes of front-page and business page news. With corporate activities such as building management, mobility, and production processes being among the largest contributors to global warming, change in corporate behaviour holds an important key to a more sustainable global model.
Either companies will choose to adapt to accommodate new challenges, or will sooner or later face the problem of being forced to do so –by legislation, regulation, customers, value chain partners or competitive market pressures.
Change is inevitable. With change always comes opportunity – especially for companies that innovate early on in the change cycle. A company’s ability to seize its opportunities is determined by its vision for success and its adaptability in an ever-changing market.
Carbon Challenge Academy offers a range of expert-led management training programmes and services aimed at business leaders and professionals to help companies of all backgrounds and sizes discover their potential through carbon management.
In addition, with the support of CEMS – the Community of European Management Schools and International Companies - Carbon Challenge Academy offers additional programmes and events for students. Our role is to up-skill the coming generation of business leaders and provide opportunities for networking between carbon-conscious companies and many of Europe’s best and brightest graduation students. Carbon Challenge Academy’s Summer University events in 2010 will educate 1,200 university students on sustainability issues and provide networking opportunities with future employers.
